That's What I Meme: Understanding Generational Influences & Characteristics

Brad Gingras

Superior Strategies
Can Millennials ever show up on time? Why are Boomers so averse to change? Our youngest employees won’t even pick up the phone! Our staff wants to work on their terms. Generational conflict and misunderstanding has been present for decades, however the divide between each generation seems to get further apart. That's What I Meme identifies key influences, traits and characteristics of the predominant generations in the workforce, but more importantly strategies to help understand what makes each age cohort succeed and engage. No matter which generation you fit into, this session will be relevant, entertaining and help you better understand your coworkers and individuals throughout your life.

Heather Trimborn, PHR, SHRM-CP, MSM
Program Manager - Talent Acquisition, Emplify Health

Craig Masters

We had a lot of Medical Assistant (MA) openings, more than our local programs & community could fill, so we created a partnership with a vendor to provide the online curriculum and leverage our Internal Department of Nursing to provide initial training. We're down to a minimal number of open MA openings in a couple years. We'll discuss our process, internal & external partnerships and learnings we've had along the way. We'll also give attendees an opportunity to share their insight about programs they've started so we can all benefit from collective knowledge.
